Privacy Policy

Facely ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used and disclosed when you use our mobile application and services. By using Facely, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide.
- User content: the photos, videos and text prompts you upload to generate AI content. This includes images containing personal features such as faces, if you choose to upload them.
- Account information: if you create an account, your email address, username or Apple ID identifier (via Sign in with Apple).
- Support data: information you send when contacting us, including crash logs and feedback.
Automatically collected.
- Usage data: your interactions with the app, such as number of generations, template usage and credit balance changes.
- Device information: device model, operating system version and unique device identifiers.
Payment information. All in-app purchases (credit packs and subscriptions) are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not store or have access to your card details. Transaction history is handled through RevenueCat to validate purchases and credit balances.
2. How we use your information
- Service provision: to process your photos and videos with AI models and generate the content you request.
- Credit management: to track credit usage based on the computational cost of each model and maintain your balance.
- Storage: to store your generated history and uploaded assets securely.
- Improvement: to analyse usage trends and improve performance and features.
3. Third-party service providers
- Replicate (AI processing): your uploaded photos, videos and prompts are sent to Replicate's API to run AI models. Replicate processes this data solely to generate your content and does not use it to train their models without consent.
- Supabase (backend and database): used to authenticate users, store user records and host media files.
- Cloudflare R2 (media storage): used to store uploaded and generated media.
- RevenueCat (purchases): used to manage subscription status and validate in-app purchases.
- Apple (distribution and analytics): used for app distribution, payment processing and anonymised crash reporting.
4. AI and content generation
Facial data. If you use features involving face swapping or character generation, your facial data is processed temporarily by the AI models to create the output. We do not store biometric templates and do not use this data for identification outside the immediate generation request.
Ownership. You retain the rights to the content you generate, subject to the Terms of Use and the licensing terms of the underlying AI models.
5. Data retention
Original uploads and generated content are stored in our cloud storage so you can access your history. You can delete these assets at any time from within the app. Account information is retained while your account is active; if you request account deletion, all associated data — including images and credits — is permanently removed from our servers.
6. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit and secure managed infrastructure. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Children's privacy
Facely is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child without parental consent, we will remove it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request its correction or deletion, and withdraw consent for processing. To exercise these rights, use the Delete account feature in the app settings or contact us at necipaky@icloud.com.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are published on this page with an updated date above.
